My name is Kylar Slover, and I’m the creator and designer of Jars of Clay. As a wife, mom, Christian, nurse, and earring connoisseur, I have a deep passion for creativity and sharing my faith.
I grew up in a creative home. My mom, Kelly, constantly worked on DIY projects and decorated the house with a creative eye. Watching her craft beautiful things sparked my own creativity. When I began experimenting with jewelry making, I discovered a love for creating fun, colorful, and beautiful earrings.
I became intrigued by jewelry made from polymer clay and wanted to pursue a side job outside my nursing career. I saw an opportunity to create and sell earrings, supporting myself and my family while attending school. That’s when I decided to start a small business, combining art and creativity to make earrings that communicate an intentional message about the Word of God. My goal is to design earrings that remind women they are wonderfully made in the image of Christ, while glorifying God through my work.
In September 2022, my vision became reality. I’ve always loved fashion and enhancing my outfits with jewelry, so creating my own pieces for others has been incredibly special to me.
I hope that everyone who wears these earrings feels reminded of how uniquely they are created through Christ and how loved they are.

The Ultimate Potter
Jars of Clay is a small business inspired by the passage 2 Corinthians 4:7: “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”
Our vision is to remind you that the ultimate potter of our lives has molded us in His perfect image. Just like fragile clay jars, we are imperfect vessels, yet we carry God’s light, love, and grace. We thoughtfully design each pair of earrings to reflect His truth.
We handcraft every piece with care, celebrating uniqueness and individuality. No two earrings are exactly the same, just as no two people are. Our hope is that when you wear our jewelry, you will remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, a vessel of God’s goodness, and a reflection of His artistry.
Why Polymer Clay?
Polymer clay is flexible, lightweight, and moldable-much like the clay referenced in scripture. The clay starts as something soft and unshaped, but through time, heat, and care it becomes strong and beautiful. We love how this mirrors the way God molds and refines us through life’s challenges, transforming us into vessels for His glory.
