Let me tell you about myself and this journey to creating stylish fun earrings. My name is Kylar Slover and I am the creator and designer of Jars of Clay. I am a wife, mom, Christian, nurse, and earring connoisseur with a passion for creativity and sharing my faith.
Growing up, I was raised in a creative home. My mom, Kelly, was always doing DIY projects and decorating the house through a creative eye. Learning from watching my mom create beautiful crafts, my creative side started to grow. I started to experiment with jewelry making and found a love through making fun, colorful, and beautiful earrings.
I had seen other people make jewelry out of polymer clay and it intrigued me. I wanted to do a side job outside of working my day job as a nurse. I wanted to create and sell earrings to help support myself and my family while I was in school. That is when I decided I wanted to start a small business to use art and my creativity to make earrings that tells an intentional message about the Word of God. My goal is to create earrings that serve as a reminder to all women that they are beautifully and wonderfully made and created in the image of Christ, all while glorifying God in the creation of the product.
Jars of Clay came to be a small business in September 2022. I have always loved fashion and enhancing my outfits with jewelry, so getting to create my own for others to wear has been really special to me.
I hope that whoever wears these earrings are reminded that they are molded and created uniquely through Christ and that they are loved.

The Ultimate Potter
Jars of Clay is a small business based off of the passage 2 Corinthians 4:7, “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us”.
Jars of Clay was created to remind that the ultimate potter of our lives has molded us in His perfect image. Just like fragile clay jars, we are imperfect vessels, yet we carry God’s light, love, and grace. Each pair of earrings is thoughtfully designed to reflect His truth.
Jars of Clay creates every piece handmade with care, celebrating uniqueness and individuality. No two earrings are exactly the same, just as no two people are. Our hope is that when you wear our jewelry, you are reminded that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, a vessel of God’s goodness, and a reflection of His artistry.
Why Polymer Clay?
Polymer clay is flexible, lightweight, and moldable-much like the clay referenced in scripture. The clay starts as something soft and unshaped, but through time, heat, and care it becomes strong and beautiful. We love how this mirrors the way God molds and refines us through life’s challenges, transforming us into vessels for His glory.
